 NEW YEARS 2008
« Result #1 on Jan 7, 2008, 5:26pm »

Am I the only one who is extremely bothered with the number of people discharging their weapons into the air on New Years! This New Years it was out of control and I think that something needs to be done about it. Do people participating not know that what goes up must come down? Or do they just not care? This is a threat to all of our wellbeing and it needs to stop. Someone is going to get hit by one of these bullets of celebration. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how we can stop this from happening in our normally quiet neighborhood for New Year's 2009! It is just unacceptable behavior and it puts everyone in the neighborhood at risk! Not to mention I am sure our roofs would appreciate it! Happy New Years to everyone....just looking for solutions to this growing problem!

I want to hear some feedback as to what you all have to deal with. It really seems a bit nuts so close to the POLICE STATION!!!!

A/C and Crawl Space Theft on Carter Rd
« Result #8 on Sept 13, 2007, 1:00pm »

Hi. The house we just moved into was vacant from Nov 06 to Aug 07. Sometime between Nov and July the A/C unit was stolen and all the copper taken, plus the crawl space was vandalized. They took all the copper tubing from the crawl space and took all the stuff out of the furnace and left the furnace lying on it's side. The owner told us that the vacant house next door had gotten vandalized at the same time.

just FYI. :P

 Theft from Carter Rd backyard
« Result #9 on Apr 17, 2007, 9:02am »

In early March 2007 a locked deckbox in our fenced backyard was broken open and folding lawnchairs stolen. In June 2006 our crawl space was broken open and we lost bicycles, power tools and lawn mower. We have since had the crawl space wired to our alarm system.

I believe that's a code violation. Try calling Code Compliance 770.724.7940 and see what they say.
